Ingredients

1 ounce blended or Scotch whiskey
1 ounce brandy
1 dash Pernod
2 dashes curaçao
2 dashes Angostura bitters
3 dashes sugar syrup
1 or 2 ice cubes
Chilled club soda
Superfine sugar

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except the soda and sugar in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a 6-ounce glass. Fill with soda water. Wet a spoon, dip it in sugar and stir into the cocktail.
